Cast bronze sculpture
First Memorial merges the form of a dead bird and an animal skull. The result is abstract with both female and male forms. It describes the cycle of life and death of the countryside - a kind of memorial to all involved.

Installation Proposal
Scottish Sculpture Workshop Summer Residency Programme
SSW is a sculpture foundry and workshop in rural Scotland. It is frequently involved in outreach work in local schools and groups, however it still meets suspicion from some locals. As a response to this, I suggested filming the open sign on the neighbouring pub and projecting it onto the workshop building.
That Was the Day the Balloons Flew…
Balloon launch of blue, helium-filled balloons printed with clouds at an abandoned 18th C. monument in central Scotland.
This monument was built to mark the geographic centre of Scotland: rumoured to have been calculated as the point where four people met after walking towards each other from the North, South, East and West.

A cast from dress rescued from a closing fancy dress shop in Stirling: the used,
handmade clothing was deemed valueless by the town: replaced by cheap,
mass-produced costumes: worn once then discarded.
The dress is a fragment of the modern history of Stirling, something that
strangers shared and in a way, collectively owned. Sadly Stirling, so proud of its
ancient history and ghosts, is less able to appreciating the present.
‘Ghost’ will appear in locations throughout the city, early 2009.
Target created from shotgun cartridges collected from the grouse moors during shooting season.
