Happiness and How to Find It
Digital print/sketch

While artist-in-residence in ‘The Landing Strip’ (a work space outside the main gallery entrance), twice in one day people knocked down a sculpture in the Art Gene Open Prize Exhibition constructed from books on a shelf. In both cases, the people were reaching for the book ‘Happiness and How to Find It.’ I collaged the book title with an architectural sketch by resident architect Manuel Tardits; to fake a solution to the obvious local need for a route to happiness.
